P.A. Bowlers bound for nationals

Some of Prince Albert’s local bowlers are set to represent Saskatchewan and the Minto Bowl at a national competition.

Kissandra Benson, Bella Mulhall and their coach, Bert Hannah, are set to leave Saturday morning to travel to Oshawa Ont. to compete from May 5 to 7 at the national championship where they will compete in the junior girls group.

To qualify for national the two local bowlers bested 11 teams at the provincial competition in Regina March 3. This title was the pair’s first provincial championship.

On the first day of competition the local squad will be rolling five games, and seven games over the next two days of the competition.
