Bridge traffic slowed by man in distress

The Prince Albert Police Service has confirmed the reason why northbound traffic on the Diefenbaker Bridge was brough to a near standstill Friday morning.
Shortly before 11:30a.m., police and paramedics were dispatched to the bridge for a man in distress.
The man in his 30’s proceeded to walk across the bridge and was picked by police without incident on the southbound side. He was soon after taken to Victoria Hospital for observation.
