PSD Jeb helps nab suspect with weapon

A 24-year-old Prince Albert man was arrested Monday night with the help of Police Service Dog Jeb.

It all started when police were called to the 300 block of 10^th St. E. around 9 p.m. about a man jumping on parked cars and yelling at people walking by.

The suspect pulled out a machete while talking to an officer before running away. He was tracked down a short distance away by PSD Jeb and arrested.

The man is facing four weapons-related charges, including being in possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and carrying a concealed weapon. He is also facing charges of resisting arrest and breaching a court order.
