Busy long weekend for P.A. Fire Dept.

There was no rest for members of the Prince Albert Fire Department over the Easter weekend, as they had a number of calls including a house fire.

Around 10 a.m. Saturday morning there was smoke seen coming from a property in the 1600 block of 15th St. W. No one lived in the house, but a witness told paNOW she had called police earlier that morning after noticing the front door had been kicked in.

In addition to the structure fire, the Prince Albert Fire Department responded to four separate grass fires.There was one early Saturday morning in the 900 block of 28th St. W. followed by another one early Monday morning in the 800 block of 28th St. W. There was no major damage reported in either incident.
