Possible delays next week on Diefenbaker Bridge

Traffic on the Diefenbaker Bridge may move a bit slower next week, as the city begins its spring cleaning.
Cleaning work on the bridge has been scheduled to commence Monday at 8 a.m. and wrap up 8 p.m. Friday. There will be some lane restrictions in place when the cleaning crews are on the bridge.
The purpose of the work will be to clear away all the winter salt and grime from the concrete surfaces of the bridge. Motorists are encouraged to reduce speed and watch for directional signage.
