Police believe alcohol contributed to crash near Victoire, 7 people injured

Police in Big River and Ahtahkakoop are still investigating a collision between two vehicles that left seven people with injuries Tuesday night.

Officers believe alcohol was a factor in the collision that happened on Highway 793, east of Victoire, Saskatchewan.

When members arrived on scene, three occupants in one vehicle and four in another were all found with non-life threatening injuries. One passenger was flown to hospital in Saskatoon with more serious injuries.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. No charges have been laid.
