Residents of the province now can offer their thoughts on the future of education in Saskatchewan.

The Ministry of Education has launched an online survey to get feedback that will help set the province’s education plan for the future. The survey is available until May 10.

As well, the province’s school divisions are offering parents and students opportunities to make suggestions.

“We want to hear from students, parents, educators and school staff to better understand what they want for the future of education,” Education Minister Gordon Wyant said in a media release issued Monday.

“The new provincial education plan will ensure that our schools are on the right path to meet the needs of students as we look toward the next decade.”

The government started asking for feedback for the plan in October. According to the media release, the information gathered will be used to “set a course for education beyond 2020.”
