WHL announces dates for Raiders, Blades playoff matchup

The Western Hockey League has announced game dates for round two of the 2019 playoffs between the Prince Albert Raiders and Saskatoon Blades.

The first game of will happen next Friday, April 5 at the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert, followed by a game on Sunday, April 7. The teams will be in Saskatoon for games three and four of the series, on April 9 and 10.

Game five, if necessary, will be back in P.A. April 12. If needed, game six will be in Saskatoon April 14, followed by game seven of the series in Prince Albert April 16.

Tickets go on sale Friday morning.

The Raiders will meet the Blades in round two of playoff action following a thrilling four-game sweep of the Red Deer Rebels in the first round. The Saskatoon Blades head to round two after beating the Moose Jaw Warriors in four straight games.

The Raiders were 6-2-0-0 in the regular season against the Blades, with the Raiders winning all four at-home games in Prince Albert.
