Swimmers with the Prince Albert Sharks Swim Club continue to excel.
Three swimmers from the club qualified for the Prairie Swimming Championships, which were held March 15-17 in Regina, and all three earned results in the top 10 for the province.
“There were fantastic results from the Sharks swimmers in the Prairie Swimming Championships last weekend,” said head coach Hazem Hussein. “It’s the second swim championship back-to-back with huge success. “
“Last week, the swimmers went to the Junior Provincial Championship and achieved 27 medals from every color : twelve gold, six silver and nine bronze — and this weekend they went to the Prairie Long-Course Championship and they achieved another ten medals: four silver and six bronze.”
