Pelican Narrows RCMP investigate homicide

Pelican Narrows RCMP are investigating a homicide after receiving a 911 call of an alleged shooting on Linklater Street in Pelican Narrows.

The incident happened Sunday just after 10 p.m. RCMP received a report of a male victim who had been brought to the medical clinic with a suspected gunshot wound and had been declared deceased. An investigation was started into the circumstances of his death.

The investigation has lead to charges of second-degree murder against George Samuel Custer and Gregory George Custer in connection with the death of David Jordan Charles

The Major Crimes Unit South, Prince Albert General Investigation Services Section, RCMP Saskatoon Police Dog Services, and Forensic Identification Section were all involved in the investigation.

The RCMP is still investigating this incident and anyone that has any information or may have witnessed the incident is urged to contact Pelican Narrows RCMP or Saskatchewan Crimestoppers.

Both of the accused will make their next court appearance in Prince Albert on March 26.
