City police issue warning over phone scams

CIty police are warning the public not to give out personal information following several reports of phone scams.
Callers posing as officials with the Canada Revenue Agency have been calling people in P.A. saying they have received a large sum of money and urging them to provide personal information about themselves. The police service says three calls have been received recently.
With tax time upon us once again, police say it is important to be aware. Police say residents should ask questions if they receive a suspicious call and not commit to anything over the phone.
