Raiders welcome back two key pieces in win over ICE
Brett Leason and Ian Scott may have sat for the past five games for the Prince Albert Raiders heading into Friday’s game at the Art Hauser Centre, but no rust was shown in the Raiders’ 4-0 win over the Kootenay ICE.
Leason got the game’s first star by setting up three of the Raiders’ four goals, while Ian Scott made 21 saves for his fourth career shutout against the ICE, and his fifth of the season.
Like Scott, Leason suffered a lower body injury back on Feb. 8 in an 8-2 victory over the Calgary Hitmen. But forget his three assist night, Leason was just happy to be playing again.
