Feb 18, 2019 | 10:20 AM

The Prince Albert Midget AA Dairy Queen Chill started their playoff run last night against the Battleford Barons in North Battleford at the Civic Centre, losing 7-4.

Kaleb Charko had two goals in the losing effort and Kevin Ledoux also had a goal and an assist in the game.

The Chill ended their season with 16 wins, 13 losses, 2 overtime losses and 2 ties for a total of 36 points which put them in sixth place in the Centre Four Hockey League.

The Chill were led this year by third year Captain, Nic Prediger, who had 37 points in the 33 game season including 20 goals.

Third year rookie, Ben Zultok also placed in the league’s top 25 of scoring with 35 points.

The Chill had an injury filled season this year with many members of the roster ending up on the injury list for extended periods of time.

This contributed to the up and down season.

The best of five series returns to Prince Albert Thursday night at Kinsmen Arena for game two. Puck drop at 7:15 PM.
