The Prince Albert Venice House Bantam Pirates will be well represented at the SaskFirst Top 80 program.

This weekend at the Merlis Belsher Arena from Feb. 15 to 17, six Pirates will be playing in the tournament on four different teams.

Here’s a look at this year’s crop of Pirates at the SaskFirst tournament, as well as their stats so far this year.

Team Green

Matthew Henry, F, 18 goals, 40 points, 25 games

Cole Tanchuk D, 9 goals, 31 points in 26 games

Linden Gamble, D, 4 goals, 11 points, 27 games

Team Black

Brooks Nyberg, D, 0 goals, 0 points in 20 games

Team Gold

Zachary Svenson, F, 16 goals, 22 points, 27 games

Team Red

Ryan Lepitzki, F, 14 goals, 32 points in 24 games

The SaskFirst Top 80 tournament is used by scouts to help identify high-end players in the province. The top 25 players will be selected for summer camp.

The Pirates are currently in sixth place in the SBAAHL North Division with a 13-10-1-3 record.
