Stolen vehicle and drugs found at home on Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation

Three people are facing charges in connection to a weapons and drug bust this week on the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation.

A total of 14 people were originally arrested by the RCMP and three have since been charged.

A large amount of controlled substances, weapons, a stolen vehicle, and drug paraphernalia were located at the residence. Small amounts of cocaine and 65 individual packages of Methamphetamine, weighting approximately five grams, were also located

Dustin Nigel Ratt, 33, Russell George Bird, 51, and Jo Dee Ratt, 19, are scheduled to appear Friday at Prince Albert Provincial Court.

RCMP members from Shellbrook, Spiritwood, Ahthakakoop, Blaine Lake, Traffic Services and RCMP Police Dog Services all assisted in the execution of a search warrant under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.
