Body found in P.A., not deemed suspicious

A deceased person was found outside a building on River Street Friday morning but the matter is not deemed suspicious.

Inspector Brent McDonald with the PA Police Service said they got the call around 8 a.m.

“We’re assisting the coroner in the investigation and it’s not considered criminal in nature or weather-related at this time,” McDonald told paNOW.

He said there were “some investigative leads that would help the coroner determine the cause and manner” of death and there was nothing to suggest suspicion or foul play.
