The Prince Albert Titans were a goal away from upsetting one of the best teams in the PJHL.
The Titans (6-26-0-3) scored the first two goals on the road in a 3-2 defeat against the Saskatoon Quakers (27-6-0-1) Thursday at the Rod Hamm Arena.
Titans goaltender Steven Soyko did just about everything he could to keep his team in the game. He made 48 saves and even registered an assist on the Titans’ first goal. Kent Hanson and Tanner Hendriks scored for the Titans within the opening 15 minutes of the game. Matthew Wilkinson, Kyle Gray and Jordan Hudson all responded for the Quakers.
