ISET execute warrants, make arrests

Three people are in custody following two investigations by the Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET), which lead to two separate search warrants on residences in Prince Albert Wednesday.

Just after 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, members of ISET and patrol officers executed a search warrant on a residence in the 1000 block of 8th Street East. Because of the search, police arrested two people located in the residence and seized 32.8 grams of cocaine, $1,480 in cash and drug paraphernalia.

A 35-year-old female from Prince Albert is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. A 17-year-old male from Edmonton Alberta is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of court order.

Both accused will make their first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.

As well, at approximately 4 p.m. on Wednesday, ISET investigators executed a search warrant on a residence in the 2400 block of Steuart Avenue. Because of the search, police arrested a lone male in the residence and seized 20 grams of crack cocaine, six grams of powder cocaine, and 0.3 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

A 32-year-old male from Prince Albert is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of court order. The accused will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.

The Integrated Street Enforcement Team is made up of members from the Prince Albert Police Service and Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
