Golden weekend for Birch Hills Marauders
The Birch Hills senior boys’ volleyball team has been crowned provincial champions.
The 3A Championship was held in Carnduff Nov. 23 and Nov. 24.
After going undefeated during the preliminary round, the Marauders faced Hepburn in the quarter-finals and won 2-0. The Marauders would then go on to beat Moose Jaw Cornerstone 2-0 in the semi-finals.
The gold medal match pitted Birch Hills up against Kipling.

The match would go to three sets with Birch Hills emerging the victor.
