Raiders call up 15-year-old Allan

The Prince Albert Raiders announced on Monday night on Twitter that they will call up Nolan Allan to the big club.

Allan, who the Raiders drafted third overall in this past WHL Bantam Draft, playing with the first place Saskatoon Blazers (10-1-1) in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League.

Allan has six goals and 11 points in 12 games to start with the Blazers. That puts him third in scoring among SMAAAHL defencemen.

The Raiders will play three games this week, starting on Tuesday when they host the Everett Silvertips. Allan is expected to make his WHL debut in that game, and is not eligible to play more than five WHL games this season. 

They then embark south on Wednesday to take on the Moose Jaw Warriors, before returning to the Art Hauser Centre on Saturday to play the Regina Pats.
