A non-profit group is looking to raise money to provide sick children with a wish.

Make-A-Wish Saskatchewan will host a gala at the Art Hauser Centre Nov. 17. An Evening with the Stars, which will include a dinner, dance and silent auction, will see all funds directed towards the foundation.

Allyson Toye is a regional manager for the organization and said they provide children who qualify a variety of options when choosing their wish. The children who the organization grant wishes to have a variety of medical conditions, ranging from cancer to heart problems.

“We do grant four different kinds of wishes; I wish to go, I wish to meet, I wish to have, and I wish to be. On average our wishes cost $10,000,” she said.
