Fresh Produce Distribution for PBCN Communities
Project Hope Canada, in collaboration with the Southwestern Ontario Gleaners and Crossroad Canada, who are our partners in Ontario, will be supplying fresh produce in equivalent to $50,000.00 value for distribution to the PBCN northern communities.
We are anticipating approximately 45,000 lbs of fresh vegetables e.g, carrots, onion, red peppers, cucumbers, potatoes, apples, soup mix, tomatoes and canned tomato juices.
These products will be distributed to the Northern Communities free of charge by Caribou Transport, as we are aware how expensive fresh vegetables can be up in the North.
- Date: Friday, October 26th, 2018
- Where: Share Building in PA
- Time: We are hoping for an approximately 10:00 a.m. delivery at the building
This is a voluntary action in helping to get fresh produce to the Northern Communities, PBCH will assist in the freight cost from Ontario, to SK in addition to us raising funds for administration costs like, boxes, shrink rap, lunch for volunteers etc.
