Muskoday First Nation Community School celebrates accessible playground opening
The Muskoday First Nation is now home to a brand new accessible playground structure.
The park was opened earlier this month with a celebratory barbecue and ribbon-cutting at the Muskoday First Nation Community School.
“The goal of this accessible and inclusionary playground apparatus is to provide opportunities for positive behaviors that create a healthy, safe environment in which all students can enjoy active learning,” a press release from the school read.
The new playground located on the grounds of the Muskoday First Nation Community School is wheelchair friendly and “embraces the importance of inclusion of all students” in playground activities.
