Prince Albert’s newest wand wash is a family run operation designed to get you everything you need in one stop.

Devin and Shay Meeks, are the owners and operators of PA Wand Wash, a car, pet wash and convenience store located at the corner 2 Ave and 26 St W.

“The places that we visited when we were doing our research, a lot of them were just car washes,” Devin said, noting most of their competition runs their operation out of a smaller space with less product availability. “When we saw that, we saw an opportunity that those guys missed out on.”

In addition to the standard wash brushes, PA Wand Wash implements foam cannons for a gentler touch for your ride. The building also features a blow-drying system to dry off those areas you don’t want to freeze during the harsh Saskatchewan winters.

With so many bays available to use, Devin said customers can expect a fast, stress free experience – at any time of day.

“We’re going to be offering 24-hour car wash to Prince Albert as well,” Devin said, adding with the proper documentation, the facility will be open to businesses, shift workers and private individuals who register for the service.

The on-site convenience store is the first location in the city to sell Spirit Bear, a coffee bean provided by an Indigenous owned company from British Columbia. Devin noted he and Shay wanted to carry products which would make them stand out from the competition.

For those hot summer days, ice cream is also available for sale through PA Wand Wash for people to cool off.

“There are specialty coffee shops and there are convenience stores, however we kind of took that idea and amalgamated it into one,” Devin said.

If you’ve ever been confused by the multitude of options available while picking up convenience store coffee, worry no more. PA Wand Wash staff are trained to properly use their specialty coffee brewing stations to ensure you get the flavour and variety you desire.

PA Wand Wash’s convenience store features one of the best, and most unique selections in the city, providing you an opportunity to cool down with an ice cream cone, or relax alongside one of their specialty coffees.

Being a family-owned and operated business is an important aspect of PA Wand Wash for the Meeks family.

“What you see is what you get with us, we’re born and raised in PA,” Devin said. “We changed direction in our business based on the goal of getting a little more family orientated… We’ve always had an interest in car washes, and it was a joint decision between my wife and myself to move forward.”
