Prince Albert business expands into commercial world

Prince Albert’s own Junk Guys are expanding into the commercial landscape.

The junk removal company, started by Marty Skauge and his son Jordan, has offered residential junk removal services for years in Prince Albert. Now they are offering to save businesses on their garbage removal expenses by offering a starting price as low as $20.00 per dump. Marty or Jordan will be happy to provide a quote.   

The duo has also worked side-by-side with the city in various clean-up projects and efforts since they’ve been open as a business. Now, the company is offering their services to new commercial clients in the form of disposal bin rentals in the Gateway to the North.

“We’re getting into the front load bins, where it’s more commercial, industrial, that kind of stuff, for apartment blocks, small businesses,” Skauge said.

Things like household appliances or scrap metal can be picked-up at a cost, or dropped-off free of charge at their compound located on 4300 – 5th Ave E.

They also offer free estimates around other junk taking up space in around your house.

If you’ve got a used car that’s no longer running, Skauge said Junk Guys also offer to come out and conduct a free estimate as to the auto’s value based on its weight. The pair also offers the same service for any scrap metal that’s around the house.

The father and son duo ultimately aim to keep as much waste out of the landfill – and people’s backyards – as possible.

“A lot of people don’t have pickup trucks or a way to haul their junk, so this way we can help them keep their yards clean at a fair price,” Skauge said.

“These guys are awesome. I recently underwent a renovation and their pickup crew was great, timely and did their best to minimize damage to the grass. Can’t say enough good things about them!” said Ken a very satisfied client  

Junk Guys is about more than just residential or commercial junk removal services; through Storage Guys, their locked and secured compound offers facilities to store everything from small boats to large RV’s. Locked sea cans are also available for smaller storage options, both at the Storage Guys compound, or on private properties.

If you want to store your stuff at their compound, but are unable to move it yourself, there is a truck available for rental as well.

The Junk Guys also have a skid steer to use alongside their bins in residential demolition projects, or to aide in other construction tasks.
