P.A.’s Ramji wins tennis provincials

Prince Albert’s Arun Ramji picked up a championship title at the Tennis Saskatchewan Provincial Open over the weekend in Regina.

Ramji won the men’s singles group at the 4.0 level, defeating Gareth Evans in straight sets 6-3 and 6-1 to win the tournament.

The P.A. player went undefeated in three matches, also beating Tyler Peter Murray 6-2, 6-2, and Terry Burns 6-2, 6-0.
