P.A. man ‘hoping for the best’ after his van was stolen and recovered
The experience of one Prince Albert man may serve as a warning for others in the area to keep a closer eye on their vehicles.
David Abramyk’s 2016 Dodge Caravan was among several vehicles stolen over the weekend. The van was left locked and parked right outside his house, he said.
“My wife works overnight doing some work with some online Chinese students, so she was taking a break at about 5:30 in the morning [Sunday] and she noticed our van wasn’t where we usually parked it,” Abramyk said. “She figured I must have gone off somewhere and it all kind of snowballed from there.”
Abramyk received some good news from police on Tuesday. The van was found abandoned in Saskatoon, though Abramyk said he’s still not sure what condition it’s in.
