Quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. reunites with Alouettes, signing one-year deal
MONTREAL — Vernon Adams Jr. will get a second shot with the Montreal Alouettes.
The quarterback signed a one-year deal with the Als on Tuesday after getting cut by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats last week.
Adams began his professional career with Montreal in 2016, starting three games that year.
The former Oregon Duck was traded to the Saskatchewan Roughriders midway through the 2017 season before being dealt to the Ticats in 2018 in the deal that sent rush-end Charleston Hughes to Regina.
