Evergreen Nissan's dynamic sales team ensures a '10 out of 10' experience

Nissan: an underestimated brand in Prince Albert

A lot of people think of Nissan as a foreign brand. The fact is, their vehicles are made all around the world and recently reached a new milestone with 150-million vehicles produced globally.

“In Canada, they are not as well known as other countries like Mexico, where one out of every four cars sold is a Nissan,” said Ron Jones, General Manager of Evergreen Nissan in Prince Albert.

Having previous experience in the local auto sales industry, Jones opened Evergreen Nissan in the fall of 2010. There hadn’t been a Nissan store in Prince Albert since the ‘80s, but Jones believed the brand had a lot to offer Saskatchewan.

Not only does the brand have a lot to offer Evergreen Nissan has opened a new chapter with a new sales team.  Our theme is prevalent on local radio station, – “Come see what you’ve been missing at Evergreen Nissan.”  It is our pleasure to focus on the customer relationship and provide the best experience possible.  “We have assembled one of the best teams in the province with a common goal to make customer satisfaction a ‘10 out of 10’ experience, “Jones said.

“Nissan is an underestimated brand in Prince Albert. People don’t realize that we have one of the biggest SUV lineups in the world including five very popular nameplates like Murano, Pathfinder, and Rogue.  As well, Nissan builds a great truck for this part of the world.  The Titan is not only a true workhorse, it is covered by the best warranty in the business – a five-year, 160,000 km bumper -to- bumper warranty.

Among the most popular SUV’s are the Nissan Pathfinder and Murano which Jones described as a ‘high-end vehicle at an every day price’ with the closest competitor being Cadillac or Lexus. The innovation that really excites comes in the form of new technology. ‘ProPILOT Assist’ will soon be available to customers which reduces the hassle of stop-and-go driving by helping control acceleration, breaking and steering during single-lane highway driving.

“One of Nissan’s goals is zero fatalities, so that’s where the ProPILOT Assist comes in,” said Jones. “The other goal is zero emissions.”

This year, Nissan offers the second generation and thorough redesign and update of the highest-selling electric car in the world – the Nissan Leaf. This vehicle is presently sold out and has a waitlist, but this is proof that electric vehicles are real contenders in Saskatchewan day to day driving.

“It costs one-tenth or one-eighth to run it compared to a gas vehicle. There is no transmission or engine so there are no oils to change and less moving parts,” said Jones. “No tailpipe means zero emissions.”

Jones is the only electric vehicle retailer in the province for Nissan and said customers are starting to debunk the misconceptions about the use of electric vehicles in Saskatchewan.

Evergreen Nissan is located at 4150 5th Ave. E in Prince Albert and prides itself on being locally owned. Every customer receives a car wash following any service because, Jones said, “When you look good, we look good.”
