Another Victory for the Sharks

Prince Albert Sharks swim club stars shine at the “Long course Prairie Championships” Congratulations to all swimmers competing in last week’s LC Prairie Championships. Six swimmers from Prince Albert Sharks Swim club participated from March 23 to March 25, 2018 in Regina.

There are fantastic results from the Sharks swimmers in the competition.

The swimmers achieved 4 medals from every colour (1 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze), Sophie Bilodeau added another qualifying time in 100 Breast for the western Canadian swimming championship which will be held in Victoria, B,C next month Also she smashed the club record in 100 and 200 Breast.

Highlights from the Long course Prairie Championships:

  • Sophie Bilodeau : Achieved 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. qualified in 100 and 200 breast to the western Canadian swimming championship.
  • Tristan Anderson-Woodsworth: 1 Silver in 200 Breast. 5th in 100 Breast and 200 IM and 6th in 50 FreeStyle.
  • Alexis McDonald: 5th in 100 and 200 Back, 6th in 50 FreeStyle. achieved 3 “AA” time.
  • Liam Murphy: 4th in 200 Back, 5th in 50 Back, 6th in 100 Back and 800 &1500 Free.
  • Camryn Cooling: 6th in 1500 Free, 8th in 400 Free and 200 Back, 9th in 800 free. achieved 1 “AA “time
  • Mackalie Bates: 5th in 200 Fly, 9th in 50 fly and200 IM.

We are pleased with our swimmers results and performance. The club offer a Variety of programmes to meet the kid’s potentials and ambitions not only on the competitive level but also on the recreational level. We still have spaces in the Little Nippers group and Cadets Group too. Any new kids are more than welcome in PA Sharks swim club.
