Grief and Loss Support Group

If you have experienced a loss or major change in your life, and you’d like some support and tools to help you resolve the loss and feel better, the Co-operative Health Centre is offering a 6-week curriculum-based group.

Common losses include death of someone you care about, divorce or separation, major illness or injury, moving, loss of a significant relationship.

These sessions are:

12:00 pm—1:00 pm (please feel free to bring your lunch if you are on your lunch break) in the South Meeting Room (main floor), for 6 weeks on Tuesdays beginning January 9.

There is no cost to attend

This program is facilitated by Steven Humble, BSW, RSW (Mental Health Therapist).

Please note: This Course is Not Suitable for: Adults who are experiencing strong and repetitive thoughts of suicide, psychotic disorders, substance dependence, frequent panic attacks, or current intense feelings and intrusive images/memories related to trauma.

If you are dealing with any of these concerns, individual therapy is the more appropriate option for you.
