DeMar DeRozan scores 26 to lead Raptors past Pacers for third straight win
TORONTO — Dwane Casey was much happier with his team’s effort in a 120-115 win over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night after lamenting his club’s third quarter issues the previous two days.
The Raptors were able to weather a push from Indiana to lead 94-89 through three. Then leading 103-98 with 8:31 remaining in the fourth, Toronto scored nine straight to push their lead to 14 and never looked back.
“The force we were playing with, running the floor, just the pace that we set, moving the basketball, we had 29 assists and I was really pleased with the way we came out in the third quarter,” Casey said. “Now we’ve got to create a habit, it’s one game.
“We’ve got to make sure we create a habit of coming out with force, running the floor (and) moving the basketball.”
