Storm spares P.A. as tree clean up begins
City crews have been dealing with the aftermath of Tuesday night’s wind storm.
Director of Community Services Jody Boulet said things didn’t turn out as badly as they could have, but they have two dedicated crews working on tree damage.
“We have one crew dealing with areas that are dangerous, potentially dangerous or obstructive to roadways or properties,” Boulet said. “We also have a team in our regular park and public spaces dealing with downed branches.”
Boulet said they were tackling fallen limbs and branches and any power outages seemed to have been small and isolated. The city works closely with SaskPower when a tree has damaged a power line.
