Roughrider Duron Carter singlehandedly makes fan’s day
Over 30,000 Rider fans jumped out of their seats as Duron Carter made a one-handed touchdown catch on Saturday.
But no one was more thrilled than 12-year-old cancer survivor Paige Hansen.
She knew Carter had a promise to keep.
Hansen has season tickets in the first row and talks to players during warm up. For Saturday’s game, she made a sign featuring players who share last names of former U.S. presidents, including Naaman Roosevelt, Duron Carter and Bakari Grant. That’s when she struck up a conversation with Carter.
