Patel, who is originally from India before immigrating to Canada in 2009, fell in love with Mucho Burrito while travelling across the country for work. With a tight budget and limited options, he ate out often but after a while, the greasy food started taking its toll.

It was during a trip to Fort McMurray that Patel stumbled onto Mucho Burrito. He said he had been travelling for some time and hadn’t had a home cooked meal in weeks. He decided to try the Mexican restaurant since he thought it would be a healthier choice.

“I really loved it,” he said. “In terms of food, it really gave me a fresh option.

When you are on the go, you want that real and fresh food taste but at the same time you are not feeling guilty.” Mucho Burrito made such an impression on Patel that he dedicated himself to learn more about the business. After three years of digging into the restaurant, Patel brought Mucho Burrito to Prince Albert. The business, located at 15th Street East, opened its doors last July. He said it has been a dream come true to see the restaurant open.
