UPDATE: Power restored to P.A.

UPDATE: SaskPower confirmed all power has been restored.

A power outage currently affecting large areas of Prince Albert was caused by an issue at a substation, SaskPower said through their Twitter account.

The power is currently out in the West Hill, West Flat and downtown areas. Gateway Mall and the Provincial Courthouse are currently without electricity. Victoria Hospital experienced only a brief outage before their backup systems turned on.

SaskPower said crews are currently working to fix the issue, but could not give an estimated time of repair.
