He felt it was crucial to keep so much of their product in stock while other companies were moving away from that model.

“When you’re working on a project, getting your flooring in a few days or a week just doesn’t cut it,” he says. “We know customers want to see their flooring right there on the showroom. They want to touch it to get the tactile sense of what they’re buying and you don’t get that from a catalogue or a tiny sample.”

Behind their elegant storeroom is a substantial selection of carpet, laminate and tile, but what customers don’t see is the entire other warehouse fully stocked with anything a customer needs. It’s easily accessible from their second location and Carpet World staff can show you any type of flooring you can imagine.

In total they have more than $1 million of flooring stock, which is everything and sometimes more you’d find in a larger shopping centre such as Saskatoon or Regina.

Assistant manager and design consultant Nancy Lindgren brings 32 years of experience finding the perfect way to accent and emphasize your rooms.

No successful company is run by just the owner however and a large amount of stock isn’t the only exceptional thing about Carpet World.

Brian has a strong core team who stand with him to answer any question and guide you towards the flooring of your dream.

Office manager Danica Middlebrook makes sure everything runs smoothly and there’s no hitches when installing your new flooring. She started with the company calling customers for their feedback about their product and instillation and managing any possible issues which would arise.

“So many customers were surprised when they’d hear me on the other line,” she says. “No one had ever called them before to do follow through.”

Always smiling John Morton is the pleasant face you’ll see when you first walk into Carpet World and he’ll guide you through every part of the process.

Buying flooring and determining a design is a very precise skill and that’s why Carpet World has Nancy Lindgren on hand. Carpet World’s assistant manager and design consultant has 32 years of experience and knows exactly how to bring a room to life. She can work with any material of any size, though hardwood and ceramics are her specialties.

“Designing a room is more than putting a couch there and picking this colour tile,” she says. “It’s about the larger picture and every part of the room feeds into that. It’s very precise and specific work.”

And of course there’s John Morton, the smiling and affable face you’ll see when you first walk through the Carpet World doors. He’s their salesman extraordinaire who will direct you to whatever you need.

“What can I say, I just love talking to folks and if I can help them out while doing it, all the better,” he laughs.
