Gateway Mall bouncing up a storm

After bouncing around the idea for their latest event, Prince Albert’s mall is ready to end the summer on a fun note.

The Gateway Mall has partnered with Backyard Bouncers to host their first indoor family fun event from Thursday, Aug. 18 to Sunday, Aug. 21.

Donna Hordyski, Gateway Mall’s marketing coordinator, said they just wanted to do something fun.

“We thought ‘what they heck,’ (Backyard Bouncers) have the equipment and we just wanted to have a little fun, so why not,” she said.

Kids will find lots to do each day, such as a bouncy castle, special guest mascots, fair food and Zorb ball.

As well, the movie Angry Birds will be shown on the Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

“There’s lots of fun, activities and excitement and you get to have it all under one room,” Hordyski said.

The family fun event will take place during regular mall hours.

It costs $10 per child. A family of four costs $35 with additional children costing $8.
