Predators award their standouts at banquet
The Prince Albert Predators got the grill out and had their year-end awards banquet at the scenic and relaxing Kachur’s Country Club.
But if it was up to Predators head coach Darryl Frenette, he’d still be at the Kinsmen behind the bench leading his team to victory.
“I already miss it now,” Frenette said. “I wish it was still going but it’s not. It’s nice to put closure on it, say goodbye to everybody for the summer and leave on a positive note—no matter what.”
When Frenette presented the awards, he was sure to give a handful of honourable mentions. But for the Most Valuable Player Award, there was only one choice—Jagg Carlson, the jack of all trades.
