New Name for 50 Year Legacy Business
One of Prince Albert’s legacy businesses has undergone a name change. On April 22, Zep Factory Outlet was officially renamed HVL Distribution at a public unveiling during an event in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the family run business.
Kevin Isbister, owner and General Manager, recounted how the business was launched in 1966 when his grandparents, Delores and George Davison, bid on and won the cleaning contracts for the Margo Fournier Centre and the Prince Albert Police Station. Shortly after PA Janitorial Service Ltd. was born and began providing commercial cleaning services, construction clean up services and carpet care to Prince Albert and area.
By 1972 the family run business was doing so well that it expanded and began offering cleaning supplies as well as cleaning services resulting in a name change to PA Janitorial Services and Supplies. Fast forward ten years noticing the conflict of interest, the Davison’s sold the cleaning services side of the company, resulting in another name change to PA Janitorial Supplies Ltd.
