New Tupperware Car for Kinistino Team

Apr 23, 2016 | 9:24 AM

Carrie Porter from Kinistino, Saskatchewan and her Something To Talk About Tupperware Team earned their first Tupperware vehicle for her business.

Carrie and five members of her team were in attendance when she was surprised with the keys to her New 2016 Chevy Sonic at their Tupperware Spring Celebration in Edmonton on April 16th.

“I always want to make that key presentation something they will never forget!  It is all about creating moments. We remember moments. The impact of Carrie receiving her car was felt by everyone in the room. Carrie’s hard work, determination and never-quit attitude inspires all of us to go after our dreams.”  explains Carrie’s Business Leader, Naomi Hartung.

There were over one hundred Tupperware Consultants in attendance including Porter’s Three Star Director, Lorna Smart.

“Carrie is a wonderful Director, her team loves her! As her leader I’m so honored that Carrie joined my team and is one of my Tupperware friends. We make many friendships in our business and Carrie is one of those people that everyone wants to be around. She cares about people, her passion and excitement is contagious. That is why she is so successful.” Smart said.

Porter, a Tupperware Director is part of the Power of One Organization lead by Naomi Hartung, and her team is the first in Saskatchewan to earn a Tupperware vehicle through her organization, Power of One.

Earning the car was based on team sales of $45,000 in a three month period. Porter said, “It’s all about a Team that can work together and help each other out.”

Carrie has been in the Tupperware business for four and a half years and has earned five trips as well as numerous awards. When asked what she had to say about earning the car, she said, “It’s all so surreal!  I get to work for a company that gives you a car just for doing what you love.”

She loves working for a company that gives her the financial freedom and flexibility to be able to stay at home with her two children and attend all of their school activities and sports as well as sharing her accomplishments with them and her husband.

Porter is proud to work for a company that has been “Empowering women for 68 years and that people can make a living at it. We are not just a bunch of plastic bowls!”

She is excited and proud of her team and can’t wait to see how far they can go.

There are two upcoming events: May 2  at the Prince Albert Inn 6:45 and Wakaw on May 4th at the Legion Hall.
