Pines Power Sports Marine: Introduces new all year round boat showroom

Boating enthusiasts can now drop by, no matter the season, to view what Pines Power Sports Marine in Prince Albert has to offer local watersport enthusiasts.

Pines Power Sports Marine, the largest BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products) dealer in Saskatchewan, has expanded and now showcases an indoor boat showroom 12 months a year at their Prince Albert location.

The new 5000 square foot showroom features every style of boat at one-time indoors including: Avalon pontoon, AlumaCraft fishing, Scarab jet boats, Sea Doo personal watercraft and Evinrude outboard motors.

“It’s there 12 months of the year, whether you want to come now or you want to come in the middle of the summer or you want to come in the fall, there will always be boats in there and you will always be able to poke, prod and look,” said Dean Lato co-owner and general manager at Pines Power Sports Marine.

The new showroom comes just in time for spring and the kick off to the boating season. It also gives visitors a better chance to come and view Pines Power Sports Marine’s boating lineup at a time that suits them instead of just once a year during the annual sports and leisure show in Saskatoon.

“The leisure show is the beginning of March and we had a 4000 square foot space.  But now that we have this facility we are just going to stay here for our local people and show off the product, and all with no entrance fee that would have to be paid at the Saskatoon show,” Lato said.

“You can come in and view multiple different boats with different layouts and figure out what works best for you and your family,” said Lato.

At Pine Power Sport Marine the slogan is “We live how you play”.   All the staff are outdoor enthusiasts and they have first hand knowledge of the products they sell. 

“We can answer the question on how things performs, what the top speeds are and how it corners compared to the others, we have all that information,” said Lato. Our slogan is really how we do it here, we use the stuff and we can talk in detail how it works.”

Coming soon on March 3, 4 and 5, Pines Power Sport Marine is holding an open house at the Prince Albert location to kick off the upcoming season and give visitors a chance to come and check out the new boat showroom for the first time.

“We are inviting people down so they can see what changed and why,” said Lato. “You can view the new boat showroom layout and talk about the changes to our service operation to facilitate the increased service business.”

The open house will begin at 10 a.m. each day and continue until 5 p.m.  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to stop by and check things out.

With three separate locations in Melfort, Nipawin and Prince Albert, Pines Power Sports Marine also supplies a full line up of Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, Can-Am off-road vehicles and Evinrude Outdoor Engines at each location.

Their hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. They are also open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2p.m.
