P.A. volleyball teams spike competition

Five Prince Albert volleyball teams from the P.A. Optimist Toppers volleyball club spiked, volleyed and bounced their way through the two Sask Cup 1 tournaments in Saskatoon and Warman over the weekend.
In the U14W division, the Toppers En Fuego team won silver in Tier 1 in their 34-team tournament. Toppers Esprit team finished 7th in Tier 2 and Toppers Fuerza finished 5th in Tier 4.
In the U16W age group, the Toppers En Fuego team won Tier 1 gold in their 37-team tournament. En Fuego reeled off eight straight wins and defeated the Westman Wave from Brandon, Manitoba in the final 25-23; 25-16. The Toppers Esprit team finished first in their tier as well.
