Trial dates set for Melfort murder case

A three-week jury trial has been scheduled for a woman accused of second-degree murder.
Candace Moostoos, 34, will appear at Melfort Court of Queen’s Bench Sept. 26, 2016.
Alpheus Burns, 70, was found dead inside his home last May.
Burns was a member of James Smith Cree Nation.
Police have said Burns and Moostoos were not strangers.
