The accused in Friday’s fatal rollover made his first appearance in Prince Albert’s Provincial Court.

Dean Delany Lachance’s time in court was brief on Monday morning. His trial was adjourned until Nov. 10, allowing him to apply for Legal Aid.

He was arrested at the scene of the fatal collision at 7:40 p.m. on Highway 55, approximately 15 kilometres north of Debden, where a 24-year-old man was pronounced dead.

Six passengers were sent to hospital.
