Birch Hills football team punches provincial final ticket

The Birch Hills Marauders will be hosting the 2A six-man high school football provincial finals next Saturday at 1 p.m.
They earned that berth after beating the Hafford Vikings 44-22 on Saturday at home behind the Birch Hills Public School.
Ethan Elsaesser scored three touchdowns for the Marauders. Gabriel Cook added two more touchdowns and four two-point convert. Ty Regnier had a key pick-six late in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach.
The Marauders will play either Rosthern or Hague in the final next week.
