DC 3 plane on the road to Prince Albert

Be prepared for a strange sight if you’re coming into Prince Albert from the North. 

A Douglas DC 3 is strapped to a flatbed truck riding along Hwy 2. 

The plane is on its way to Saskatoon in three separate pieces; the body, and the two wings. 

The convoy does take up a significant amount of space on the highway. Make sure to take extra precautions if you find yourself behind the plane.
