Icehawks crack open Fort Knox in 5-4 victory

The Prince Albert Icehawks picked up their first home win of the season in a crazy 5-4 win over Fort Knox Sunday at the Kinsmen.

The win puts the Icehawks up to 3-2-0-1 on the season. It’s always their first win at the Kinsmen in their four-game homestand.

Icehawks captain Jack Green scored the game-winner shorthanded late in the second period. He had two goals and four points to lead the Icehawks to victory. Brendon Boyer had two goals and an assist, while Zach Hurd had a goal and an assist.

Defenceman Bryton Sayers got his first assist since joining the Icehawks on Sunday.
