Syringe-armed robber pleads guilty in court

The woman who used a syringe to commit four armed robberies in Prince Albert pleaded guilty on Thursday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Carmine Patty Nayneecassum, 33, was arrested on Aug.10 after using a syringe to rob several businesses located in the West Hill and Midtown areas of Prince Albert.

She was granted bail on Aug.26, but was on bench warrant after failing to appear for her next court dates.

She will be remanded until her sentencing on Oct. 29.
