Another driver described an accident north of the city on Highway 11, at the intersection of 305 at Warman.

“A black pick-up truck rear ended an old farm truck. Contents are spewed all over the highway. The black truck basically crushed like an accordion.” the caller described, adding visibility was down to the length of a football field.

Other people driving by the scene say that the fog is so thick it’s even difficult to see the brake lights of the people stopped at the accident.

RCMP have also been called to crashes near Duck Lake and Outlook.

Environment Canada says the fog should lift early this afternoon.
